Terms & Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions which are updated on 1st May 2019.

1. Deposit

We reserve the right to request a deposit to secure your booking which may be paid by PayPal. The deposit is adjusted from the final cost of treatments.

By using the service, you agree that you will not attempt to undermine the integrity of this web site.

These Terms and Conditions apply and the to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or making a booking you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. That you also agree to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use or access this website.

Before you place an order for the services, if you have any questions relating to these terms and conditions please do not hesitate to contact us.

2. Your right to cancel

The following terms apply to all appointments made for Monday to Saturday – excluding wedding make-up. See below for special terms applicable to wedding make-up and Sunday appointments.

At least 48 hours’ notice is requested if you need to cancel or change your appointment. Otherwise the late cancellation costs as laid out below will be charged.

Cancellation or change of treatment times of less than 48 hours of your booking will incur a charge of 50% of the full treatment cost. If you fail to show for the appointment, then the treatment(s) will be charged at full cost. If part of a booking is cancelled or changed after arrival, the full cost of the treatment(s) as booked will remain still payable upon departure.

Late Arrivals may unfortunately result in reduced treatment time. Therefore, as a matter of respect for other clients, please ensure that you arrive on time. Otherwise, your treatment will be rescheduled to alternative time.

How to cancel or change your appointment: Cancellations or changes can be made by logging in online through your online booking account. You can also text or email or phone me on 07505-707973.

3. Sunday and Bank Holiday bookings

We reserve the right to ask for a non-refundable 10% deposit of the total cost of services booked by you for a Sunday. Similarly, for a Bank Holiday booking we reserve the right to ask for a non-refundable 10% deposit. Bank holiday booking can be done but this is by is by special appointment only by texting or contacting directly.

Your right to cancel (Sunday and Bank Holiday bookings)

A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required – otherwise the late cancellation costs as laid out below will be charged.

Cancellation or change of treatment times within 72 hours of your booking will incur a charge of 100% of the full treatment value. If part of a booking is cancelled or changed after arrival, the full cost of the treatment(s) as booked will remain payable upon departure.

4. Courses of Treatments

Courses consist of 6 to 11 treatments and are only valid for 6 and 11 months respectively from the date of purchase. Courses must be paid for in full on the date of purchase. Missed sessions, appointments cancelled without providing a minimum of 48 hours’ notice and appointments amended two or more times will be considered as used sessions. Please note that refunds are not available in such circumstances.

5. Bridal Hair & Make-up

Bridal Hair & Make-up may be booked up to 6 months prior to your wedding day. We are unable to accept bookings prior to this.

In the event of Angie becoming unavailable on your wedding day, we reserve the right to provide service through another trained therapist to carry out the application if possible and will do our best.

Free consultation
You may book one free 15-minute consultation with Angie to discuss your bridal make-up and the service offered. This is normally offered 3-6 months prior to your wedding day.

Deposits and final payment
A 50% deposit is required to secure any Bridal Hair & Make-up trial(s). This is to be paid at the time of booking. Final payment is due on the day of your Bridal Hair & Make-up trial. For the D-day – Bridal Day Hair & Make-up a full payment is needed at least 90 days before the wedding day.

Your right to cancel or change
You reserve the right to cancel your Bridal Day Hair & Make-up until 72 hours prior to your wedding day. The following charges will be made and late cancellation costs as laid out below will be charged.

  • More than 61 days’ notice. Full refund less £15 administration charge.
  • Up to 61 days to Bridal day – 30% loss of total cost.
  • 60-31 days to Bridal day – 50% loss of total cost.
  • 30-4 days to Bridal day – 75% loss of total cost.
  • 3 days or less until Bridal day – 100% loss.
  • Trials: If you wish to change the time of your make-up trial, standard cancellation terms apply.

6. Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or suspect, you are pregnant please only book treatments after you have passed 12 weeks (first trimester).

7. Hair Extensions

If you are looking to book for Hair Extensions then you can see the terms and conditions about deposit, payments on the relevant pages of Hair extensions, on the website. These vary from type of Hair Extensions. £70 Non-refundable deposit (under any circumstances) is required to order hair extensions, adjusted in the final cost of hair extensions. In case if you have changed your mind after the hair are ordered and are unable to go ahead with hair extensions as discussed at consultation then the hair can be held up to a maximum period of 4 months for you to have them applied, after which deposit would be forfeited. If any problems with your hair extensions, then you need to come and see me (not another hairstylist) within 72 hours of your hair extensions application  so that I can see the problem and try to sort it out. Also it is important that you bring the Hair Extensions products that you are applying and using as have been advised.

8. Booking a Party

This applies to Hen party, Children party, Henna Party and any other party treatments.

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of £25 of the cost of beauty treatment is payable at the time of booking for the party. This is non-refundable. This can be paid by Bank Transfer, PayPal or Cash. However, if paying by PayPal an extra 5% of the cost is required for PayPal transactions. Please contact me for details. Once you have paid, please text and email me about the deposit.
Final Payment: This is due 14 days before the start of the treatment. This can be paid as above.
Travel: There is no travel charge if the party is on a weekend or bank holiday (within 5 miles radius of PO19 6SE). However, if the party is on any other day, then there would be a small travel charge to cover my travel costs.
Cancellation: If for any reason Angie is unable to carry out your Hen Party, Children Party or Henna Party treatments, then we will refund you all the money paid, by means as it was originally paid.

9. Travel Costs

A minimum charge of £5 is applicable (for Party Treatments see travel charges under Booking a Party) for any mobile services (except massages) at your location within 1 mile of postcode PO19 6SE. This is a small call out charge to cover the travel expenses, getting the items to your place, packing, unpacking and travel time involved. For distances more than this, and depending what treatments you are booking, please call to discuss so that I can give you a better price for the travel charges. It applies to individual clients requiring beauty or nail treatments.

10. Gift vouchers

Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for 6 months from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date. Vouchers may be used for services only. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred and can’t be used against any offers.

Your gift voucher number must be quoted at the time of booking and the voucher handed to the therapist at the start of your treatment or emailed prior to the appointment. You are not under obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during one session. Balance of the remaining amount can be availed towards further treatments, within the 6 months’ validity period.

Late cancellation and “failure to show” terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers – which will be voided should you fail to give the required notice. Please check required notice periods based on the value of the booked treatment(s). NB: Vouchers are non-transferable and only redeemable against treatments.

11. Our right to cancel

If Angie, is unable to carry out your treatments through circumstances beyond her control, we reserve the right to transfer the booking to an alternative therapist if available but not guaranteed. In unusual circumstances we may need to cancel your booking. In the event that we cannot fulfill your appointment, we will contact you by telephone or email – where possible.  If for any reason Angie is unable to carry out your Hen Party, Children Party or Henna Party treatments, then we will refund you all the money paid, by means as it was originally paid.

12. Our rights

We reserve the right to:

Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website
Change the conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the conditions, then you must immediately stop using the website and/or our services.

13. Refunds

if you are in any way dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience, please contact us within 72 hours of receiving treatment. We do not offer refunds for any completed services. We will try our utmost to resolve any problems.

Your file information

You agree to keep your personal record held by the us updated with your full contact details – which will enable us to contact you in the event of any change relating to your appointments. This is in line with the General Data Protection Rules (GDPR). You can read more on our Privacy Policy here. Where possible, please provide both landline and mobile telephone numbers. We do not sell your details to any third party marketers.

14. Mobile Phones

To enjoy your treatments please refrain from using a mobile phone and ensure it is switched off for the full duration of your treatment.

15. Children

Please understand that we can cannot accommodate for children under 12 – unless supervised by an adult during your treatment. Please refrain from bringing in any under 8’s that would be greatly appreciated. Any treatment for children (age less than 16 years) will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and a consent given for the treatment for their child. They have to be present for the duration of the treatment.
